Where is your wood from?

It’s easy to forget sometimes that the magic carpet you ride, grind and flip once belonged to a mighty Maple tree.

But do you know where that tree once stood?

A Third Foot Skateboards sources it’s raw materials from a FSC Certified wood mill in the Great Lakes region of America.

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international organization, set up in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests.

For every tree taken, a new one will grow in it’s place which will be felled in 70 years time. This allows the forest habitat to exist naturally, rather than large areas of forestry being felled and left for pasture.

We at A Third Foot believe strongly in the ethical treatment of our planets resources, and by using FSC Certified wood for our skateboards, hope to be able to do so for many years to come.
